Water Damage Done to Colchester Home

This beautiful home in Colchester had extensive damage done to their home due to a water leak.  The homeowner called SERVPRO of Norwich and Windham County in to help remediate the problem.  With the damage being so wide spread, our crew had to remove the entire ceiling and the insulation in several rooms.  We then treated the affected areas with an anti-microbial treatment to kill and prevent future mold from growing.  The wood floors were also water logged which we used specialized drying mats to dry.  While working in the home our crew also discovered extensive mold in some areas, as well as in the duct work.  Of course no homeowner is happy to have mold, the customer was very pleased with our response time and the work that was performed.
