Flooding of Home in Lebanon CT
Combining heavy rains with low elevation on a property can have disastrous results. This home had flooding on the entire first floor after torrential rain rapidly fell. SERVPRO of Noriwch and Windham County was on site to pack up and clean the salvageable contents of the home. Our crew had to tear out the floating floor and was surprised to find insulation and several inches of water sitting on the slab foundation. We made flood cuts on the damaged areas of drywall and applied an anti-microbial to all exposed areas. The area was quickly dried out and ready for reconstruction.
