Ice Maker Causes Chaos in Plainfield

This home in Plainfield had the water line to the ice maker in their refrigerator break causing water to come pouring out of the refrigerator into the kitchen which then went into the basement.  Most ice makers can use up to 25 gallons of water a day, so the damage was extensive to the flooring in the kitchen.  When our crew from SERVPRO of Norwich and Windham County arrived the wood floors had already began to buckle.  We removed the flooring and set up equipment to dry out the sub-flooring.  We then moved down into the basement to set up equipment to dry out the concrete floor in the basement.
