Kitchen Flooding in Brooklyn

In this home in Brooklyn, the dishwasher feed line cracked causing a flood in the kitchen, which went down into the basement.  Our crew from SERVPRO of Norwich and Windham County was on site to remediate the problem.  Our crew set up drying mats to try to save the wood floors in the kitchen.  Unfortunately there had been too much damage so we had to pull up the floors.  Equipment was set up to dry out the sub-floors.  Our crew then addressed the basement by extracting the water that was in large puddles and then set up drying equipment.  When the kitchen and basement were dry the crew then sprayed an anti-microbial agent to the floors to prevent future mold growth.  The homeowner was pleased with our quick response and the hard work of our crew.
